Older months
Each tier strictly adheres to specific logical rules. Easy puzzles require only basic single and pair tactics, while Intermediate and Expert boards introduce advanced strategies like subsets, wings, and chains.
On every puzzle page, the Techniques button in the header opens a full reference guide including every method from naked singles to forcing chains.
All puzzles are generated by a custom made engine. Sudoku Explainer (LGPL) and HoDoKu (GPLv3) are used to compute the difficulty scores (SE and HoDoKu scores).
